Description

Face cleanser, vegan, cruelty-free, no artificial colouring or fragrance, paraben-free. 250ml
This facial cleanser purifies by removing excess sebum and prevents the appearance of blackheads and blemishes. It ensures a matte finish all day long. Ideal for combination to oily skin, its anti-bacterial formulation with soothing botanical ingredients also makes this facial cleanser an excellent anti-blemish treatment.

Directions for use: Pre-cleanse for best results. Place a small amount in the palm of damp hands and work into a lather. Apply to moistened face and neck with circular motions. Emphasize shiny or blemish prone areas. Avoid the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Not suitable for pregnant women.

About Dermalogica

Newly settled in the United States to join her husband, Jane Wurwand, who has a passion for cosmetics and a degree in aesthetics, sets out to find a job. She quickly realized that the majority of beauticians hired were European, but above all she noted a lack of training and consistency in the skincare sector. In 1983, to make up for this shortcoming, Jane gathered all her savings and decided to create the International Dermal Institute (IDI). With $25, she bought the register of qualified beauticians in California and advertised the training courses offered by IDI. In just 2 days, 70 people signed up: the adventure was launched. Her objective? To offer $10 training courses covering a wide range of subjects, from treatment protocols to how to set up a business. The idea behind it is to provide training based on standards of excellence, so as to offer skin therapists the opportunity to acquire the skills they need to remain competitive in the industry. Jane soon realized that there were no products to match her vision or the needs of her students: at the time, there was no professional brand offering effective, visible results without skin-irritating agents. Dermalogica was born in 1986. Jane Wurand initially lacked the means to launch her brand on her own: she convinced a laboratory to develop formulas without any financial advance, and negotiated payment once she had sold enough products. Within 10 months, she had developed 27 skin-friendly formulas: free from lanolin, denatured alcohol, mineral oil and artificial fragrance or coloring.
