"Creator of art jewellery" is how Okan Studio defines itself. This young jewellery brand advocates singularity with modern and audacious pieces with soft Japanese influences.

After many years spent working in the marketing field, Margaux Gripon has decided to make a change of direction by creating her own jewellery brand called Okan Studio, which refers to the word "crown" in Japanese. Indeed, it is during a trip to Japan that she matures her project. Among her different inspirations, it is above all Harajuku, an avant-garde district of Tokyo where unusual fashion and colourful urban artworks are combined, that inspires her ideas.

She recently unveiled her first collection called Nami Edition. It consists of rings, earrings and cuffs in yellow gold gilt, pink gold gilt or 925 silver. Here the jewels are decomposed and then recomposed, the irregular circles are added to each other. They mix movement, graphics and architectural style in an always very pure spirit. Okan Studio loves beauty, volumes and perspectives, it pushes creativity to its paroxysm. Quality is also important. Thus, the brand works with the RJC-labelled jewellery workshop, which guarantees the ethnic origin of the materials and respect for human rights.
