Description
This bow tie was designed from a French cotton percale. The pattern is a traditional Provencal design in white with black outlines on a sage green background. It was printed on a rotary frame. The color flows through the cylindrical stencil and is delicately deposited on the fabric through holes provided for this purpose.

This collection was developed in collaboration with the French printer Les Olivades whose workshop has been located in Provence since 1818. There they keep a large archive of traditional regional designs: a unique heritage. Les Olivades is also one of the last workshops in France to perpetuate the traditional techniques of printing with flat or cylindrical frames.
The bow tie was then made in the CINABRE workshops in Loir et Cher.
The bow tie you will receive will be already tied and ready to use. It is an authentic bow tie, so you will have the possibility - if you wish - to undo it and tie it again afterwards in your own way.

L'exception selected a range of bow ties and ties made by Cinabre in their workshops in France. Those craftsmen have been specialized for three generations in the tie and bow tie handmade. All the card holders also benefit from an extremely meticulous work carried out in the workshop of the brand. The buttonholes are handmade in a Parisian Haute Couture workshop whose creation and know-how go back to Louis XIV!
