About JC de Castelbajac
A descendant of an aristocratic family of south-west France, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac founded in 1969 the company Ko & Co in collaboration with his mother. He decided to take his independence and set up his own clothing brand in 1978, combining his three passions: art, fashion and music. In the 80s and 90s, he attracted a clientele in search of novelties, with iconic pieces such as paintings or graffiti dresses or oversized clothes.
For Spring-Summer 2014, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac came back to his love of art. In his fashion show, he painted live on a dress in front of the audience, a manual twist that he played as well on printed dress in cotton gabardine. He came back as well to his love of primary colors : red, blue and green.
