Founded in 2013 by the MAAG family, Inuikii offers trendy footwear for the cold winter months.

Their claim? "Here I am" which reflects a statement of diversity, a story, an emotion and our modern world... Inuikii is inspired by quality, design and the aesthetics of individuals.

Inu-Ikii is a two-word name, describing the beauty of two stories. "Inu" means "attractive" and is often used to describe the word "girl". "Ikii" means "cold" in the Inuit language and reflects the coziness of the brand's boots. Thus, Inuikii celebrates the beauty of the cold.

The shape of the boots make the identity and soul of Inuikii: handmade in European workshops and made of organic materials, Inuikii boots are breathable and keep us warm all winter long. Inuikii has adapted its iconic "Classic Sneaker" model into several equally trendy boots, combining style and functionality. Inuikii shoes protect from rain, snow, keep our feet warm in winter and cool in summer.

Inuikii bases their philosophy on natural and biodegradable products: in addition to leather, they reuse organic materials from the food chain to make their boots.

The Swiss brand commits itself to responsible styles day after day, and prides itself on its sustainable approaches. L'Exception offers on its website the Grape boot models, made from grape leather, also known as Vegea® . The brand collaborates with the Italian wine company Vegea and has developed a process for recycling wine waste. They creates grape pomace, which is made up of skins, stems and pips discarded during wine production. This allows these initially discarded residues to have a second life!

Most Inuikii shoes are lined with European shearling, a biodegradable, breathable, and naturally thermostatic organic material.
The brand offers LWG (Leather Working Group)certified leather, which aims to improve the environmental impact of the leather industry by evaluating and certifying manufacturers' practices. The label engages with members of the leather supply chain to help them develop a more environmentally responsible approach.

For a healthy and sustainable product, Inuikii also benefits from the GOTS (Organic Textile Certification) and Oeko-Tex labels, which guarantee that the materials have been used with respect for the environment and that they do not affect the health of their wearers.

Finally, Inuikii innovates and offers an ecological rubber, made with up to 70% devulcanized rubber (i.e. recycled). This comes from their own rubber waste resulting from production. The result: boots with more eco-friendly, non-slip rubber soles for optimal safety on rainy and snowy days.
