About Ancient Greek Sandals
The love of Christina Martini and Nikola Minoglou for ancient Greece and its myths is the source of the creation of the brand Ancient Greek Sandals founded in 2011.
The models are inspired by shoes from the past and brought up to date. The creators are inspired by mythology, pottery, jewelry and even sculpture. Handcrafted by artisans using traditional techniques, the models offered by the brands are aesthetic and durable, no chemical treatment being used during the shoe manufacturing process. We also notice a particular aesthetic that combines vintage and timelessness.
We appreciate the models offered by Ancient Greek Sandals for their durability, resulting from a design by craftsmen with unique know-how but also for the storytelling that we discover behind each proposed model. From the legend of Hermès, messenger of the Gods to their magical powers, a story is always hidden behind the brand's creations. We recognize a model thanks to its signature wing-shaped closure loop, a reference to Hermès.
