Karhu
Karhu was founded in 1916 and was first known as Ab Sport Artiklar. It's only since 1920 that the brand changed its name to Karhu (meaning "Bear" in Finnish) and used the Bear logo.Since the beginning, Karhu specialized itself in the field of sports by offering discuses and javelins. The brand then became a stapple in terms of track spikes and running shoes ans was known for its technical expertise in creating sports' shoes.
In1960, Karhu once again changed its logo and started using the M logo (coming from the Finnish word 'Mestari' meaning champion) and launched its first trainers, the Trampas in two versions, one more sporty with the M logo and the other one without for a more casual wear.
Today, Karhu offers a complete sportswear wardrobe and develops each and every one of its shoes and products with the constant research of an ever more optimum performance and quality.
