L'Exception goes to meet its clients. Today we meet Mas Belsito, actor in France and Italy; a client of L'Exception since 2020.

Can you introduce yourself?

Mas: My name is Mas, I am Italian and I have been living in Paris for twenty years. I am an actor, I work between Paris and Rome.

What are the recent projects you have worked on?

Mas: Currently, I am shooting in Italy for an Italian series. The last project I did in France was a biopic about Abbé Pierre, which will be released in theaters in 2023. I played one of his companions, at the beginning of Emmaus. It was a very beautiful project.

What was the role you found most interesting?

Mas: Maybe it was the one I did for this film. With this role, I shot a very beautiful scene, a little violent, but it allowed me to go and get a lot of things. I have a very good memory of this shooting in general. I also have another memory of shooting that has marked me. I was also a dancer before, I did a movie about ten years ago, Nine, by Rob Marshall, which was kind of the king of musicals. The movie was bad but the shooting was really great.

Are there any differences between acting in Italy and France?

Mas: Yes, completely. In France, it's more cerebral than in Italy, less carnal. In Italy, it goes more through the physical, we gesticulate more too... Even if there is obviously a mental work in both cases.

What brought you to France?

Mas:When I was a dancer, I was offered a contract in France, and I never left. I have now started my family there.

What are your next projects?

Mas: Recently, I have been trying out for several films in Italy. As for France, my project is the film I told you about that comes out in 2023.

What is your relationship with fashion?

Mas: I'm someone who pays attention to their style, but it depends on the context. When I walk my daughter to school I can wear anything. While there are people who are always super well dressed even to accompany the children to school...
But, since I make a profession of image, I must also take care of my look. Beyond that, I really like clothes. I don't have many pieces but I choose them carefully. I would say that I have a very sporty style, as well as sometimes elegant. The cool thing about fashion is that tastes are always changing. For example, I never used to wear a scarf before, now I really like it.

You have been a customer for two years, do you remember what you had bought from us first?

Mas:Yes, I had bought Autry sneakers, very nice. At your place, I had also bought two Patagonia coats and an APC coat. I also have a Cuisse de Grenouille overshirt, very nice, I have been complimented a lot.

What interests you in L'Exception products?

Mas: I come for the brand's universe and for its style. The selection fits me, I don't have to spread myself thin. It's also a place where I know the quality of the pieces perfectly.

What is your experience with L'Exception?

Mas: Obviously, it's a very good experience. The team and the attention they give to their clients are also part of the strengths of L'Exception.
