Pionner of a fashion movement of the early 60's, the Yéyé, inspired by the famous song by the Beatles "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah", Emmanuelle Khanh worked for several years as a fashion director for Cacharel and Missoni.
In 1969, she decided to launch her own eponymous ready-to-wear brand, Emmanuelle Khanh. She wanted her fashion items to be different from the offer of Haute Couture houses and aimed her offer at both active and modern women.

After several seasons, she decided to combine her crazy spirit with the expertise and know-how of the Guillet company, creating, in 1972, a collection of bold and colorful glasses.

From this, resulted a series of iconic models, including the famous 8080 frame, worn by Emmanuelle Khanh herself. Attached to this unique know-how, the brand still manufactures all its products in workshops in France.

Despite the death of its founder in 2017, the brand still keeps to this day the same motivation and ambition, to offer contemporary women a wardrobe in their image, modern, with an absolute freedom of movement, with an activist and audacious state of mind and the will to conciliate women's poise with their strengths. The brand shares the same conviction as before, with a strong desire to work with new materials and new shapes, with new collections studied to play with contrast between materials and light and reflection.
