Description
Label : Constellation.
Release date : April 25, 2013.
If there's a 3, it's because there was a 1 in 2007 telling the story of people living on the sea and a 2 in 2011 narrating their arrival on dry land, so here's the final installment of the trilogy by Canadian American saxophonist Colin Stetson, member of Arcade Fire and Bell Orchestre. New History Of Warfare Volume 3: To See More Light was released in 2013 on Constellation Records and focuses on a war to conquer a mountain peak. Bon Iver's Justin Vernon on vocals, and Stetson on musical solo for live recording, it's all the simplicity of a setup to better highlight the talent and complexity of a unique set.
Between acoustic performance and narrative fable, the Canadian offers a whole world to survey with closed eyes and open soul.
