About Fred Perry
Fred Perry's iconic garment is the cotton polo shirt. The ex-sportsman, who had emigrated in the United States and had stopped his champion's career, then worked in business, was always interested in sports. His brand was created with the desire of a short-sleeved shirt to play tennis with comfort and elegance. The first polo shirt was white, the colour of the English tennis players clothes. A great success quickly came out. The polo shirt has been diversified in a lot of colors through the years, then a whole sportswear collection came out, with a more streetwear style the years after. The brand pleases the sportsmen, but also the musical and artistic universe. Beyond the United Kingdom, polo shirts with contrasted stripes, sweatshirts with printed logo, lace-up sneakers and jackets « bombers » from Fred Perry make followers all over the world today.
